I'm putting in a low mileage 2.0L DOHC engine for my nephew in his neon R/T. The problem I'm having is the intake manifold on his engine is in the front of the car and the exhaust manifold s in the back. On this 96 2.0L DOHC engine it is reversed with the exhaust manifold up front. The question is can i simply bolt the intake manifold to the front of the head where the exhaust manifold used to be? Am i missing something? Port size, valve issues? Any help would be greatly appreciated.
