I was wondering if I should use atf+4 or manual trans oil for my 96 dodge ram 1500 5 speed transmission?? I've been told both things.. need help! thanks everyone!

If you have a manual transmission, i would find out what fluid goes into the trans.

put the wrong fluid in and could cause the tranny to wear out faster and just lead to problems. Haynes book should say, dealer or most parts stores.
