I'm looking for a wiring diagram for my truck. I just want to splice in a cheapo light under the dash to light the center cupholder console. I could just wing it, but the way everything is computer controlled splicing into the wrong wire could be expensive! I know I could just tap off the 12v outlets there but would prefer to tap into the dash lighting string so it dims with everything else.... I am an Industrial Machinery Electrician so I do have an idea of what I'm doing.

Did you ask the dealer if they could print some pages for you?

 

Nope, I'm guessing their response would be any tampering with the electrical would void the warranty, etc... Besides that they are a few hundred miles from me. I didn't think it would be so hard to find a simple diagram. I would imagine the harness for the different versions of the truck are the same or similar, just what's plugged into it differs? I'm guessing I'll just wing it...
