Default Just transitioned to the Dodge world

Hi there, I live in beatiful Whistler BC and I just bought a 2004 Ram 1500 slt 4x4 quad cab with 190 000 km on it. (miles divide by 1.6)

I had a 2wd canyon with reg cab for the last 8 years and being a winter enthousiast, I have been wishin I had bought a real truck in the first place. It served me well, I beat the crap out of it and I still got good moey for it. It was cheap on gas and the price was right back in 04 when I got it. Learned my lesson and never again 2wd.

Got a sweet deal as I sold my canyon just over 4g and got the Ram for 5g. I now need to put studded snow rubbers on it. It has goelanders h/t+s on it right now which I will likely sale and get a set of mudders with rims next summer. I already had a quick browse at the info and as expected you guys have it dialed. I discovered truck forums a year ago when I did a brake job on my little summer truck and it was a revelation about the infinite resources you can find. Do it yourself just became the way to go for many things I had no idea I could get involded with.

I sled the big mountains in my backyard, snowboard whenever I can, cross country ski like a hippy and I'm vegan. I'm kind of a redneck hippy hybrid; A gas powered plant eating anthousiast. I like to laugh and say that my diet buys carbon credits so I'm carbon neutral. Who the **** invented that anyway? Oh yeah, hippies, which I am one myself. Oups I said the F word. I will NEVER use that word again I swear.

Glad to join the community and I am thankful for all the time and knowledge you guys are all sharing here and that with a passion. Hope I can become knowledgeable myself and get to pass it on someday. Looking foward to putting some cash and time in my new acquisition and post some pictures up. I always said I could not call myself a real man until I had a big truck and a huge TV. I'm halfway there!

Cheers

Eric
