Check Engine Light Problems
Have had 2008 Dodge Ram 2500 6.7L diesel in warranty shop 5 times. CEL comes on and the dealer replaced the O2Sensors, O2Heater Sensor cables, Air Intake Heater and cable, and replaced ECM. Now dealer is telling me that they contacted Chrysler and that Chrysler says to replace the Engine Wiring Harness (which is not in warranty). I can't see where the harness would be the problem.
Anyone else have this problem, and did it get fixed?

I don't understand how the harness couldn't be under warranty being that it is an integral part of the vehicle itself. I see a fight coming on with them. There could be a bad wire in there but only the company would know it, and tracking it down would be a nightmare. Fight them to the fullest. Do you have a bumper to bumper warranty or only powertrain?
Yes I would go to war with them. Just being honest. How is a wiring harness issue your fault. We as end user owners never touch the wiring harness, so for them to say it isn't covered leaves a reason for suspicion in my book.
You can Buy Car Diagnostic Tool to check engine,Easily determines the cause of the “Check Engine Light ( MIL)”,I bought the OM510,The tool is very easy to use, saving your time and money.i hope that your car are able to work early
The check engine light on my 2003 Nean SXT comes on inthe winter & stays on till spring. I have had several thermostats & various other things repaired as well. The fault error always comes up the same, according to my mechanic, it is not getting up to temp fast enough. Car runs great otherwise. Anyone have any suggestions?
