I have an 03 Dakota 4.7L standard,. the truck has been AWESOME.. at 216K I thought it best to have new spark plugs ,, The dealer talked me into a fuel induction clean. Since then it has erractic idle 500-1000 RPM. .I have been back 6 times They did replace some vaccumn lines.. cleared the codes. they cleaned the IAC which was "black" I thought that was part of the fuel cleaning. its still doing the bad idle thing but not sending a code. Thurs coming off the mtn at 70 mph I lost power it died,, I was able to get it to the side of the road and stop. sent a code. The truck ran beautifully before they got their hands on it... What might have happened???
