I'm new here...
...But not new to dodge trucks.
Greetings folks! My name is Kevin. Most people call me Kev. Now that I sound like Forest Gump, heres a bit about me:
I've had close to 20 dodge trucks, ranging from my first 1989 Dakota. It was brown, with manual everything. 3.9 v6, rubber floors. complete base model. Then I went to gen 2, and dabbled with them. Ive had 4x4's and 4x2's with them. All of them with the 4.7 v8. A couple with the typical snapped manifold bolts. HAD a gen 3 for a short time. It felt like a car to me...so here I am, back to my roots in 1st gen. I just picked up my 1995 on 4/20
.
Its a red slt package, 4x4. 5.2 magnum v8. Club cab. (and a noisy aluminum cap) When I got it, it had lights all over it , including 2 monsterous driving lights under the grille, which were wired, so as to immediately catch fire, once turned on.It also had cab lights, and marker lights EVERYWHERE.
So, Ive been busy pulling all that stuff off, and getting it back to stock glory, so that I can make it "mine".
Its getting new tailgate graphics, (because thats what I do), the fender flares are getting repainted, because they are milky. (currently looking for nicer flares). And then we look at suspension work, tires, perhaps a tonno. Herculiner....it goes on and on. Is a truck ever really done , anyway???

Nope. For folks like us, it is an ongoing project, that will never be complete. (just ask my wife.....)
