Default Sirius XM problem - acquiring signal message

I have purchased a 2012 Dodge Journey SXT 4 months ago that came with Sirius XM. There has been an "acquiring signal" message since last night. I switched to FM radio and it switches itself back to SAT and acquiring signal message. I turned audio off or the radio off and after a few seconds it turns itself back on and goes straight to SAT with the acquiring signal message. I thought maybe the subscription had run out but shouldn't I still be able to get FM and AM radio without Sirius? Do I need to take it in to the dealership - is there some kind of update to uconnect that I need? Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Welcome to DF. Sorry I cant help with your problem, But you might try asking your question in the Journey section. This section is for intro purposes only, not tech questions. Other than that, I say call dealer, XM or Sirius.

Default I have the same problem, and just overall problems with the radio/screen

It stops working, or the aquiring signal comes on and wont switch to anything else, sometimes the sound doesnt play, its very frustraing.

What are you driving? Is it still under warranty? Is your subscription up to date?
