Default service manuals

Hello all,

Any thought on service manuals. I Have Chilton useless. are there different types that dealerships use? best one? cost?

Welcome to DF! I find Chiltons or Haynes to be very useful personally, expecially when coupled with the knowledge you will find on this forum. But, they are limited, geared towards the weekend mechanic with basic tools and knowledge. They do have good pics though, that helps me more than anything. I can take anything apart, it's putting it all back together without left over parts thats my problem....

Your best bet are factory service manuals. Check out ebay.
