1996 Dodge Ram 2500 Van

I have a 96 Dodge Ram 2500 Van 1/2 ton.. I thought 2500 vans were 3/4 tons??? Can anyone tell me what the difference between the two is? Any help is appreciated!

2500 is indeed a 3/4 ton. At least, it should be. What is your concern?

Welcome to DF! Yes, if it is a 2500, it is 3/4 ton. What makes you think it's only 1/2 ton?
