My name is Brock and i have had my stock 99 for about 3 years now i love her and cherish her. But she needs new tires so i guess what i am asking is what would be the largest tire i could stick on a 17" rim 9" wide with an offset of 00, the truck is a 5.2 stick shift 4x4 club cab with the Laramie slt and heavy duty packages. Stock rim is/was 16"x7" with 245/75/16...Please help!
I am hoping to stick a 285/70/17, please let me know if this will look cheesy and or will rub. slightly is okay... But if i cannot turn then thats not the size i desire. Thank you in advance

 

285's should fit fine. You may experience a little rub on the control arms at full steering lock, but, that's about it. Check out the 2nd gen Ram forums.
