Default up and running???

Good Morning, another newby here lol. Ive got a 95 dodge ram 1500 5.9 v-8 we just replaced the engine and transmission getting ready to fire it up so i can finally get back in the drivers seat of my baby and it wont turn over just cranks and cranks. lots of new parts new wiring and all but it has a code 12. Any ideas what we could check out?

Code 12 is just telling you the battery has been disconnected at some point. (Oh gee, there's a big surprise. )

On the passenger side of the engine, behind the cylinder head, is the crank sensor. Pain to get to, but, is frequently a victim of engine/trans work. Check and make sure no wires are pinched, and that it didn't get crunched during the install.

Check out the second gen ram section as well. LOTS of help to be had there.
