Default Hows it goin'?

hello dodge forums! I joined these boards to try and diagnose my 1999 ram 1500's alarm/startup problem.(my first and only vehicle, too bad shes stuck in my backyard.) along with ogling some others users rides/modifications. I am a car nut, but know nothing of fixing them or their engines. I am also considering going to school for automotive technology and hoped to talk to a few mechanics to try and feel it out as a career choice. I have had exclusively dodge vehicles in my family for the past 15 years, and they have treated us well. I am absolutely in love with 60's-70's(early 70's ha) pickups, chargers, challengers and darts.

Welcome to DF

If you post in the 2nd Gen Ram section, The members are very knowledgeable. Has far as the career choice, There are a few dodge techs on the forum and they are also helpful to your questions.

thanks! Hey mastertech, i posted in the van specific section, would it be against forum rules to post it again in the 2nd gen forum?

Edit: I have a van not a truck, is the 2nd gen ram section for trucks only?

Don't worry. I'll take care of the post. I didn't know you were writing about a Ram Van.
