I have a 2009 Dodge Ram truck. A couple of weeks ago I took it in for a recall notice for the rear end. It's been fixed, but now, my door looks don't work, my fan doesn't work, "flaps" that direct the heat. Weird computer operated stuff. I'm worried that it may be the computer or the brain. It has 45000 miles on it. Does dodge wauranty the computer at all?

 

The only "computer" they warranty is the PCM for 8 years or 80K miles.


By FAN, you mean the blower motor for the HVAC, right?

 

The hvac fan locks windows and the ac plug
To name a few things. The fuses are fine. So I'm thinking it might be in the computer? Does that portion of the computer have extra coverage?

 

You need to have the dealer check for codes for the hvac and the TIPM for codes. Is the truck a 1500 or 2500 ram?
