Default USB Port not reading

Hi Grips613 from Ottawa, Ontario Canada. I have a 2010 Dodge Grand Caravan and I am having problems with me entertainment center reading my USB stick. I put it in the USB port and all it does is keep searching for files. It started when one day I got in the van and my hard drive was wiped of all my songs, I had asked my wife if she did it by accident but she was wondering if I had done. Now it doesn't seem to read the thumb drive. Is there any troubleshooting tips or a hard reset that can clear this? Thanks

Try another thumb drive to see if it is the drive, or the port.

I've tried multiple thumb drives, I even reduced the number of files to just one song but no change.

Port is probably dead then. You can check it, and see if one of the contacts is bent, or just dirty.... but, that's a pretty forlorn hope.

I will check that, thanks for the help. I hope the port isn't dead, I'm sure that will be cheap to replace ha, ha

Oh, of course.

Merely an arm, leg, half your soul, and your first born male child. They will leave you the left nut.
