Exclamation 1999 Dodge ram 1500 sport 2wd to 4x4 swap

I have an 1999 dodge ram 1500 sport 2wd and I would like to change my truck to an 4x4. I wanted to know what front axle ratio should I get on the Dana 44. What would I need to switch my truck to a 4x4? (Please list evrything I need)

Trans, t-case, both driveshafts, front axle, mounting brackets, etc. It is easier just to find a 4x4 truck.... doing the conversion is a LOT of work, and that is only a VERY short list of what you would need.

Front ratio needs to be the same as whatever is in the rear axle. Otherwise, you break stuff. Quickly.

Welcome to the forum. Please read the rules and also the section info so you are posting questions in the correct area. In your case, it is the 2nd gen Ram section. This section is for introductions.
