New '07 Durango Owner / DF Newb
I just wanted to thank those who keep and who've contributed to this site. I've been lurking for a bit gathering info for our next vehicle purchase.
I was raised on Chryco products, not the hotrods from the sixties, but the less glamorous late 70's and 80's. Ramchargers, Miradas, 5th Avenues.
We just bough this '07 Durango.

Limited, Hemi, 4x4. It's in many ways a larger scale version of our current '02 Liberty.

It's sitting at 117000 KM's or about 70000 Miles. Near to no rust (rare as we live in the heart of the rust belt), shows signs of previous undercoating. No trailer package (which gives me good feelings about the trans hopefully not being too abused).
It's hard to fathom just how fast a vehicle this size can be. Accelerate is hardly the word for it, more like the fist of God reaches down and squashes you into the seat while the world begins to blur around you. It insures for $10 a month more than our Liberty, which is just insane. New owners should be issued crash helmets and have their insurance cancelled.
Anyway, thanks for the site, I plan to be around for a while.
