Default 95 Dakota 3.9 to 5.2 swap with M/T

i have been reading lots of different stuff about the swap. i currently have a 95 Dakota that i lifted and over size tires and the 3.9 just don't cut it pulling hills or loaded . so i got a hold of a 5.2 out of a 95 1500 ram. needs rebuilt

so should i do just a stock rebuild top to bottom with out any performance parts or give the 318 a little boost?

what can my stock 5spd handle not sure of what model it is.

i cant find a diagram about splicing the extra 2 injectors in.

will the radiator need replaced?

will the oil pan fit?

thinking about ding a duel exhaust will i need to do something with O2 sensors? removing the cats. 2.5 or 3 inch? full duel or just duel after muffler?

sorry lots of questions. i have never done a swap before.

Dakota's came with the 5.2, so, the parts to drop it in there are available. It should also bolt up to the NV3500 in your Dak..... just need a different flywheel, etc.

You will need to come up with a harness, and PCM to run the 5.2 though. It is a sequential injection system, so, injectors are fired individually... best bet is to scour the local wrecking yards, and see if you can find one with the stuff you need.
