New TX member,,,, New to Dodge
Hi my name is Alex from Houston TX,,, I purchased a 1990 Dodge Dakota 2.5l 5speed manual 105k original miles. I like the truck so far it has one issue the gas gauge dosent seem to be working,,, I'm mechanically inclined so where would you recommend I start to try and figure out what the problem is? Any info is appreciated thanks

Wander on over to the first gen dakota section, they will be able to help ya out.
Think I would start by testing the sending unit... simply unplug the electrical at the pump, and put a jumper across the leads for the fuel gauge, see if the gauge in the dash does anything.
