I was looking for a diesel to tow a car trailer and my first choice was a Ford, as I was a Master Tech a few years ago and the first 7.3's when I was working on them seemed the way to go. Plus I still had a few extra parts laying around. Since a current diesel tech I met said stay away from the 6.0's.I couldn't believe that Ford screwed up that bad and was glad to be out of the business before they came out. A good 7.3 is way over priced I think
Anyway I found a 1998.5 24v, AT and 2wd with 300k on it which was way over the miles I was looking for. Seemed to be well card for and not too many dents. Bought it for 3k and really like it so far.
Thanks for the Forums to help me keep this going for a while.

Be sure and check out the second gen ram section, and the diesel section as well.
