Default new ram

Hi, I just took delivery of my 04 ram reg. cab 4.7 two weeks ago monday. I had a 99 qc 5.2 in 99 and sold it. Kicked myself ever sence.
My truck is the grey sxt with auto and 3.55 rear, tilt cruise, cd, 17X8 chrome clad wheels and bumpers, sliding rear window, dodge bug shield, rugged liner bed liner, and tinted windows. I bought it at Rockwall Dodge in Rockwall Texas.
This truck is sweet. I,m getting about 14 mpg mixed driving, mostly in town. A co worker has a 03 qc 4.7 auto and says his started out the same but now gets 17 mixed driving and 20 hwy if he keeps it under 70 mph.
He said it got about 21 the last trip he took. This is on 87 octane using mobil 1 synthetic 10 w30 oil.
I'm a power plant operator for the City of Garland Texas, am married and have a 15 yo son. I'm looking forward to talking with you guy's and girls about your trucks, I know I love mine.

Welcome to DodgeForum, It's good to have another non-Hemi Truck owner. Enjoy the site.
