Hey Everyone,
just bought my first truck ever and also my first RAM. Growing up overseas I always had bike and when I moved back to the states for college first thing on the list was a bike...
A buddy crashed it a couple of years ago and the girlfriend said no more. 2 years later and recently married now I bought my first truck and first RAM I love the thing! Its a 2002 Dodge Ram 1500 4x4 4.7
I am real big into saving money especially since I just bought a house and want to learn how to do almost everything myself to save some cash. I am pretty big into the moped/scooter world and have been on a ton of forums still figuring this one out and where to post what.
So far I know that:
-- the cruise control doesn't work (not sure if the 3rd gens have a vacuum line or not)
--A/C doesn't blow cold (should i have a shop refill it and work on it a little bit or should I do a DIY AC refill?)
--Passengers side window control doesn't work
--air horn needs a new part
--back brakes are real bad.
--some rust on the bottom not sure what I need to do with it to save it...
The engine was rebuilt 13 thousand miles ago Tranny and body have just over 160k on them. Im excited to learn from everyone here! Thanks for taking the time to read everything!
