Our family owns a 2008 Dodge Caravan. It has 112k miles and has served our family wonderfully the past 4 years. We got it at 80k.

I am a DIYer and try to exhaust everything I can do prior to going to a mechanic.

That being said, I have the Hanes Manual(think its that anyway), an OBD, and a pretty decent build up of tools or at least access to em.

I saw some of the answers, and it kinda enticed me here. Since we decided to keep the van till it dies... and I have 5 children beatin the hell outta the poor girl, I figure some folks have had similar experiences and hope that they do... save me some grief!

Welcome to DF!

Wander on down to the Caravan section. Should get plenty of help there.
