Arrow electrical in my 1980 plymouth trailduster

I have been working on my 1980 Plymouth trailduster for about 6 years now first rebuild and now I am finally on tackling the electrical side of the build. so my only question is where I live I don't have to do emissions so I was wondering if it is possible to just take out all the wiring except for the few I need for engine and lights but all the extra emission crap!!!!!!!!! please let me know might be a dumb question but like I said its my first full rebuild

Check your local laws, given its age, it might be exempt now. Otherwise, federal law says that stuff has to be there. Bear in mind, I have NEVER heard of anyone being prosecuted for removing it. (outside of California.....)
