sup people, this is VK from southern California. i'll be 19 years old this september.
i drive a 1996 Dodge Stratus ES. i'll post pics later.
and i want to spend this summer working on my car, this is also my first car and i've had it for over a year now. it gives me problems every now and then. especially the gas milage, jesus christ this car is worse than some SUVs.
so anyway i hope that i will have a good time here and i will try to help anyone if i can.
thanks for accepting me.

RE: new member!
you can get everything here.. i spent that last 10 mins making this page http://www.viceking.net/stratus.htm
i calculated about 12 MPG...
the last maintainance i had on it was at jiffy lube 2 weeks ago... signature service (oil change + 14pt inspection) and radiater flush.
soon i'm going to get the spark plugs changed, hopefully tomorrow.
i bought the car last year in february and it had 96,000 miles on it and now it has just over 115,000

in one of the pictures you can tell that i got a new radiater cap because the one i had wasn't holding pressure. the rubber seal had wore off.
spark plugs i'm getting changed tomorrow.
and my car has been to jiffy lube and pep boys within in the last month and everything checked out fine. (recently got brand new tires and new brakes)
and i've tried the gas treatments and the tranny fluids that help stop leaks, but it's been a while so i'll buy some more. i'll try to get my dad to send me more money becuase i need a few more parts.
if you look at the picture of the engine. you can see the hose hanging. i need to find the nozzle (squared) and pep boys or chief autozone don't carry it. i'll search for it later.
btw.. thanks for the welcome

Thanks
we also have two other dodges. one a 1999 Dodge Intrepid and our newest one is a 2002 Dodge Intrepid ES and before those two cars we had a 1997 Dodge Intrepid Sport. 3 intrepids in a row and now my stratus.
i had doubts about the 99 intrepid, i didn't think the car would last. well it's 2004 now and the car has over 140,000 miles and it's still rolling. the only thing replaced on the car was the fan, a few hoses, and the rack and pinon.
