hello ,,, I have a 1991 dodge Dakota was a 5.2 but building a 5.9 or a 406 stroker. my question to anyone whom may have done this is,,,i am wanting to swap out wiring harness from the new to the old will a painless harness from say a pre 79 back work. reason being is the 5.9 is a 73 block running indy heads,msd ing and a crank trigger. this is reason looking to go to painless harness and also get all the new computer harness out of truck giving it a cleaner look. the other question I have is will a gas tank fit behind rearend truck has a four link under it with a 48" long 8 3/4 with 3:91 posi. and 727 tranny.
