Default HI EVERYONE

Hi there dodge drivers & co-pilots... recently purchased a new 2005 dodge ram 2500 ctd and loving it.
Have it for 6 months now and have about 25K on it. Its my daily work truck , drive mostly long distances between NY and NJ , MD PA etc... the longer I drive the smoother she runs. Getting good fuel mileage as well. Recently had the matching colored cap installed. Hope to learn a few things here on this site about diesels and there specifications and the do's and the dont's.... Very informative so far for me.

Mike,

Welcome to DF. This is the place to come for getting ideas, checking out other peoples rides, asking questions and sharing knowledge. Lots of good people here. Glad to have you aboard.

My pappy has an '87 F-250 with the 7.3L International. He is now over 180,000 miles on the original injectors and just recently passed his smog test (WA state) with flying colors. I'm sure the Diesel owners on the forum will tell you to keep the oil, oil filter and fuel filter regularily changed. Wish the wife had let me have a diesel. They run for about ever if you take care of them right.

Congrats and enjoy,

James

I was about to say, 25,000 miles in six months seems a lot [&:] Welcome to DF! There's a February 11th DF meeting in Baltimore if you're interested. See my sig for details
