Default Newbie to MOPAR

OK take it easy on me I'm sorta a ford(mustang) guy looking to expand my fondness of classics.

I just got through doing a 1970 Mach I restore project and in looking for a new project find myself
intrigued by MOPAR. I've looked close at many different possibilities but for some reason I keep
returning to a project that really needs some TLC.

Its a 1969 Charger RT. It looks to be a major restore and although I can find projects in far better
shape I keep thinking this ones the one. What I would like to know is do you think its worth it?
Would you take on such a project. The guy wants $700. As I said I can find many other projects
but none are MOPAR and I'd really like to try one.

Welcome to the site. I love 69 Chargers. From the looks of it, its going to be a very involved resto. If you have the money and the skill I say go for it. It looks like it would be a ton of fun. Good luck bro.

I can't tell what kind of shape it's in without looking at it personally. If you do buy it, good luck! From the pictures it looks like quite the project to do. Welcome to DF!

Terry,

Welcome to DF. This is the place to come for getting ideas, checking out other peoples rides, asking questions and sharing knowledge. Lots of good people here. Glad to have you aboard.

I too like the '69 body style and wish I had one. I agree that it looks to be an involved resto. Good luck and keep us posted.

Glad to have you!

A restoration like that will be a big prodgect, but then again, that's half the fun isn't it?
