I just joined today. I'm the original owner of a 1989 Dodge B150 Ram Van, SWB, 3.9L V6 (TBI), and 5-spd OD manual (YES it's factory stock!). It qualifies for historic plates now. I did all of the custom work myself when I was much younger. See pics in my album.
I was taught to drive on my Dad's 1979 Dodge Van (Slant Six, 3-on-the-tree, NO PS, NO PB). So it was only a matter of time that I would get my own someday. He's passed now, but he got to drive & ride in mine many times. Mine's a Cadillac compared to his: I have power steering, power brakes, windows (meaning just plain "glass" where he had none), factory stereo (he deleted his new), chrome bumpers, & custom work. And COLOR - his was fleet white. The jury's still out on which powertrain is better - his slant six, 3-spd vs. my injected V6, 5-spd. His got retired around 200,000 miles, mine's only got 120,000.
The interior on mine never got finished, but it has 4 seats + a bed in the back for camping.
