Default Remanufactured 4.7 liter engine

Can anyone tell me after the installation of a remanufactured 4.7 engine in my 2002 dodge 1500 do you have to adjust anything like valve etc?
And is therismay other info that I should know about it. I'm just looking for any info from ppl who know about these engines i have a good mechanic that's installing the engine but i wanted to know things and ask him about it and make sure they are done. Thanks in advance

No, no adjustments required. Just change the oil after the first 1000 miles (or the manufacturers recommendation), then your normal maintenance intervals. Welcome to DF! Check out the 3rd Gen Ram section.

Okay cool thanks for the quick answer.
What about dry start do you recommend putting a little oil down the spark plug hole and also cranking engine for a little bit with the fuel disconnected and no plugs ,coil packs in or disconnected ?. Again I'm asking then gonna talk to mechanic and make sure this is done if he doesn't do it anyways. Seems like a good mechanic and been here in town for many years ,I've heard good things about him from many ppl. Thanks again

It should come pre-lubed, to an extent. Should be able to just install it, feed it the fluids it wants, and fire it up. Oil pressure will come up in less than a second once it fires.
