I have a 19 ram classic 15oo. I recently had my stock mirrors replaced with tow mirrors to make a little safer pulling my camper. The work was done by a buddy who is a dodge cert tech at the shop(under the table lol) he tried flashing but the turns & puddle lights didn't work which i didn't care about. Also the ambient air temp sensor is has apparently been moved from the grill area to mirrors in this model, so that as well didn't work, which i was also ok with not having my truck remind me it's 115°+. It's aug in texas i know it's hot. I said all this to ask this, it is now throwing a code & check engine light is on. My guy said is because of ambient air sensor not hooked anymore, again i can live with this but now my remote start will engage but only run for like 15 sec. Then shut off, he said as long as check engine light is on the remote start will not operate. Now this is a problem cause again it's aug in texas & i need start truck & get ac goin. Can anyone help us?

 

Is the OEM temp sensor still installed and hooked up? Just curious as to if he was not able to flash, how the truck knows the ambient temp sensor was moved?
