Default New From South GA

Hello everyone. I've owned my 2000 Quad Cab SLT 2WD Dakota for close to a year now. It has the 4.7L, 45RFE, HD 9.25 rear with 3.55 gears.

I have a lot of plans for this truck and will be doing a build thread once I have the parts in hand. I just recently sold my street truck project, which opened up some room for the daily.

So far I've only added the flares, an Accel programmer, projector headlights, and some audio. 2.5" Exhaust from Y back. It will be coming off the mud tires and back to streets once I find some wheels I like.

Future performance plans:
-212R or 218R spec cams (haven't decided yet)
-Valve spings, retainers, and lash caps
-AirRam intake adapter with a 4.6L Ford or Sullivan intake.
-Injectors
-SCT Tuner (The Accel is fantastic and I will do a review thread for it, but sadly no custom tune files are possible yet.)
-Shorty headers
-2.5" Y to 3" duals
-Stall converter (based off what cams I decide)
-Monster transmission rebuild kit
-Maybe drop about 2" in ride height
