Hello. I just got a 2000 Dodge Ram Lariat 1500, 2 door cab short box and it's my first Dodge pickup. Had 2 Chevies a Ford and a GMC, all 2 doors, w/short box and I love 'em! The truck needs a lot of cleaning and maintenance, but I don't like the stock wheels and want to install 2014 stock 5 spokes, the silver ones. Had to buy 2 new tires today and the tire guys tell me this cannot be done because of different hub sizes and I need to buy their custom wheels etc. I happened across this site and it seems that it IS possible. I know these wheels came on not just the '14 but came earlier, not sure. So... what do I need to look for or measure before I buy the 2014 17 x 7", 5 on 5.5s ? Thank you. Mike

Is your truck 2 or 4 wheel drive? Include that information when you post in 2nd Gen, and someone should have an answer for ya.

 

You're right, it is a Laramie. It's a 2 wheel drive and has everything I want and nothing I don't need. I'm new here, obviously, and am just figuring out how to navigate on this site. New to a Dodge as well.
