Default What do each code like D2, DS, DT mean?

Hi everyone.
My name is Mako from Japan.
I am a fan of Ram truck, and now I am learning about Ram truck.
I found Ram has so many codes like D2, DJ, and DT and etc. and I am confused how different they are each other? .

Could you tell me the difference of each code?
Also, could you advise me how I can what code each vehicle is applied to?
*For example, how do you kow Ram 1500 is DT?

Thank you in advance and I hope you stay safe!

No, it is not option code.
As attached material shows, Ram truck has many code below.

Ram 1500 DS
Ram 2500 DJ
Ram 3500 D2
Ram 3500 DD

I do not what the difference between each code is since Ram 3500 has two codes in this case.
It seems so many codes which starts with "D", so I am confused since I do not know the difference.

Seems to differentiate between weight rating, and number of rear wheels.

DS is 1500, single rear wheels
DD is 3500, dual rear wheels.
Etc.
