Default Vehicle Technical report

Hi,

I am in the process of registering a Dodge Power Wagon but the DVLA have asked for additional information. I need a letter from Dodge/Dodge owners club to confirm the type of vehicle it is. Can anyone help me with this please?I understand there will be a fee,

Many Thanks

Nick

Ok, that seems like an odd request. Can't they just look out in the parking lot and SEE what kind of vehicle it is???? Not sure I understand what they really want here....

You can get a build sheet for your truck from here. (and it's free) I would think that would be all they needed.... but, they should be able to determine what it is via the VIN in any event.

What is the DVLA and what exactly are they asking for? You just need a letter from a car club telling them what kind of vehicle it is? Forge one...lol

LOL, They wanted to confirm that the vehicle is what it says it is. It's a 1970 Dodge Power Wagon, Thanks for the link but its says before 1998 they can't do it that way. I think it is the kind of thing you can get from the main dealer, We don't have Dodge main dealers here in the UK i don't think 🤔

Yeah, I think that your truck is a bit before the websites time. UK doesn't help either, as you say, not many dodge dealers..... And the DMV likely doesn't have a clue about VINs from vehicles of that vintage. Still, they could just look out a window, and see that it's a pickup truck.....
