Hi I have a 2008 ram 1500 and a 07 caliber that both are currently down and I'm desperate for solutions. So the ram a few weeks back started randomly flashing the battery light while driving with the ac on. Then last week while on the highway going 75 I lost all power and had to tow it home. Battery test was good so I assumed the alternator was the issue. Well by removing battery cables I engaged the anti theft mode and locked the whole system up. So yesterday I got a new alternator put on and now I have unlocked the security system but I'm getting no power at all. No crank no start no head lights nothing. I'm lost please help

 

Check fuses first.... then check the various major connections, both power, and ground.

Does anything at all happen when you turn the key on? Does the dash light up??
