Hi, I just acquired a 2010 Dakota 4X4 Crew Cab Big Horn Edition with 3.7 V-6 and automatic transmission. Has 140 thousand miles on it and was a one owner I've been told. Sadly, no service history was left with the truck. I previously owned an 89 and 92 Dakota that my employees drove and were very dependable. They each had over 250 thou when I sold them and retired. I personally drove a 91, 98, 99 and 2006 Dodge 2500 4X 4 Cummins. Loved them! The cost of diesel made it not feasible on fixed income to keep. Having past history with the Dakota it was my first choice for a replacement. I did ask a question a couple of weeks ago here on the forum about replacing the fog light bulbs and got a quick response and solved the problem. I was a member of diesel forumz and was able to download the shop manual in PDF format for each of those trucks. They were a great help. Towed a fifth wheel with for many miles. I live in Eugene, Oregon with my wife of 56 years.
I believe the older Dakota's were 3.3 liter V-6 powered but very strong. Between 16 -18 mpg which made them very economical to drive.
Thanks
