Finally got a Ram!!
Yes, Portland, Oregon. Rust belt kills me as a denizen of the west coast and Pacific Northwest primarily. That and the NE are I where vehicles go to die an extremely early death. It's probably my #1 reason to not move or find work there. Humidity and harsh winters are not too far behind. Otherwise, I have no problem with it or the people--never had a bad time whenever I've gone there.
Even though the police checks are a nuisance, I usually head south to get cars and trucks. I'm 3 miles from the Kentucky state line. My Ram 1500 was a Kentucky truck with very minor rust. I fixed most of it with metal patches smoothed with some Bondo. (That's why it has flares. I'm not a good body man.) Right now it's down for a major tune up. Plenum repair, timing chain, all the hoses (bypass was about to let go) and new ignition components.
