Default Hello

Hi, I wanted to introduce myself. My name is Jon and I own a 1952 Dodge B3B Pilot house. It is a bit of a restomod because it has a 331 Hemi from a 55 Newyorker and a 700R4 automatic transmission. I will post more

pictures in the photo area.

Yes. I actually bought the truck the way it is from a father and son who did the project. There were a few items that needed attention. Wrong carburetor baseplate causing a huge vacuum leak which affected the power brake booster. It has power assist with the drum brakes. I wish I could find a way to install power steering. It is a bear to crank the wheel when moving slowly.

Look at it as good exercise.

They make "hydraulic assist" kits, basically a pump, a valve, and a cylinder that helps you move the steering. Corvette style. (much older corvette....)
