Default 4.7 external coolant leak

New here, have a '03 4.7 with 147K miles. Bought it recently and knew it had internal problems. Pulled the heads and found a broken valve spring #2 intake, rocker broke out the boss for lash adjuster. Got a core head and had both heads rebuilt. new seats, valve guides, surfaced.
Assembled everything, used 15/35/+90 torque procedure. Added coolant to system and let it sit overnight with no pressure, next morning found coolant on floor (2-3 ounces). Rolled under it and started looking and found coolant dripping from heads. Pressurized system and coolant was coming from head gaskets at block seam on both sides. This is my first (and probably last) 4.7 but I have built plenty of engines over the years and never run into this problem before.
Anyone have any ideas about the problem? I didn't enjoy it all that much the first time and really don't want to take it apart again, getting too old this crap but still love turning wrenches. Your help is greatly appreciated!

Hhhhmmm...... Gotta admit, that's the oddest method I have seen for torquing head bolts..... Why they didn't just give you a torque VALUE, and how many steps you should take, is a mystery to me. The engine hasn't ran though.... so, might be able to just break 'em loose, and re-torque..... but, I suspicion that if you do that, new head bolts would be in order.... again......
