I've got a 97 1500 Laramie Ext cab long bed 4X4 5.9 V8 white in color. So last summer she finally went down after 372,439 miles. I've purchased a stock motor, and decided i want to try rebuilding my trans, and I'm about ready to take it out, and this is really a stupid question, I'm sure. So how the he double toothpicks do you remove the shift lever on the transfer case. I was expecting to see a couple small bolt and a nut holding it together. Be easy on me I'm old and somewhat blind do too age LOL
