Default New here, looking for advice......

Howdy everbody. I've just joined the site to get advice on a possible new truck, a 2002 Dakota Quad Cab. If you have anything to say about those trucks, please relpy to my post in the Dakota forum. Hopefully I'll be able to increase my knowledge of Dodge trucks and cars through this site, and thanks to anyone who is able to help me in the future.

I like the Dakota line, for 1. they look awesome! and 2. they have POWER!!!, but myself, I like a real Truck! I'm not to grand on SUV's.. Too many of my friends have died in them. Not a single one in a Dakota. But, you know what I mean. Bigger the truck the better you roll, and live.

Welcome tothe site. The Dak's are nice but I prefer the Full Size Trucks. Have you looked into the Ram's ?

I have to agree with the dark lord here, full size is where it's at! I have a friend who has a SWEET Dakota, nice rims, nice paint, 4 door super clean very nice. He loves it but he wishes he would have gotten a full size truck. Keep that in mind. But if all for not, the Dakotas are nice! Welcome to the site, enjoy

My friend has an '02 Dakota and loves it. However, when I told him about me buying the 1500, he kinda sounded jealous. Anyhow, to say the least, it's a great truck!

Just so everybody knows, I'm not completely against the full-size trucks. Especially since I'm a full-size guy, myself. It's just that the smaller trucks is really the only thing that'll fit in my budget right now. Eventually I'll move back to the full-size line (I've got an old piece of junk full-size that I just sold to get this new one), but right now, it's just not reasonable, especially being a college student.
