OK, so I'm here and new with a '03 Silver Ram Laramie Hemi with the sport exterior. So far (2100 miles) it is one great truck. This truck is an improvement over the '00 5.9 Dakota 4X4 SLT plus that I traded in. Also a great truck but the kids have grown and I really like the leather.

One problem, it squeaks. That's right, the squeak is coming from the area between the bed and the cab on the drivers side. Anyone know what could be causing it? The dealer knows but I've not been able to get it to them for repair.

Anyway, I'll be attending this forum and Hello out there in MoparUniverse.

Quicksilver WELCOME to DF!! your truck sounds amazing... less the sqweak... but I think you just put some speakers in and turn it up, you won't hear it anymore... LOL!

I know, that's lame... bad Amanda... But I would have to say it's a bolt not completely tight...

Thanx for the welcome Amanda . The Laramie comes with the Infinity stereo, that, and the fact that I could operate the power windows in the accessory position, were the main selling points to me. I couldn't do that with the Dakota, had to turn key to on, pain in the posterior, ya know ? Anyway, I never knew it squeaked until I turned the tunes off.

BTW, I forgot, it's a QC

That's cute! An odd selling point, but endearing just the same. LOL!

That Hemi of yours sounds amazing... I haven't driven one yet... so, I envy all who have. I hope you post some pictures and stay on as a frequent member.

welcome to the site!!!!!

your sqweek could be just about anything...a loose bolt, some where....a joint rubbing....your leaf springs...and so on

crawl under there and have some one shake the truck or jump on the rear bumper see if you can hear where its comming from!!
