Mopar Performance only makes the SOHC in crate engine form... they do remanufactured DOHC's... but I'll have to double check on price for you. If you want a discount on the engines or parts, I can help ya out there... seriously... so... LMK!

Augh - Thanks for the info on Crate Motors.

My Dodge Dealership gives me a pretty good discount too. I might follow up with you on a rebuild DOHC. I am shopping around today.

Right now I am debating on which way to go - I think I need a 2nd engine - but first maybe rebuild my current engine and then pick a spare - or pick up a rebuild engine now and then that would give me time to rebuild my current engine.

My next race is not till July 3rd!

it is a Great blast! I can not believe I took so long to try racing - it was easy to get into and racing the Neon is a lot of fun - especially in the SSC class - you are up against some what equal cars - the Civic SI is my biggest competitor - and the 200SX and the Saturn SL2 will give a run - usually it comes down to who is the better driver!
