Default Lookin for a Dodge

I'm a new member and in the market for a Dodge Truck. I currently drive a 1990 Chevy 1500 4x4, 350 w/AT. Talk about a serious lack of power[:'(]. The dependability is there, but it just doesn't have the grunt I'm lookin for, so.........I am now in the market for a Dodge Ram 2500 with a Cummins. I recently drove a 1997 with an AT and 155,000k miles. The truck ran like a top, but needed tires, front end work, and the fuel guage was not working. All in all, it was an OK truck, but upon the advise of a current Dodge owner, I'm holding out for one that I want in the price range I'm lookin.

97-01 Extended Cab, short bed, 12 or 24 Valve 4x4 with a Manual trans. Color doesn't matter. I would perfer to have less than 150,000, but if it's been babied......Any further advise would be appreciated.
