Default Diesel trans expert new to forum

Just want to let every one know I am on this forum. I am a performance diesel transmission expert and happy to help any one out who has found their self confused about what you really need. I will be posting some great info on the multi disk torque converters and the new 48RE problems I now about.

Have you heard of any shift problems or surging with the 2005 2500 automatic trans? Mine is shifting funny i have 40000 miles on it?

Welcome to the forum [8D] Your input will be a great benefit here, I know that Iam looking to either build mine up or fork out the big bucks for the ATS race tranny which doesnt sound like much fun to me

Stop by the CTD forum in the Ram section... always happy to have a knowledgable person there...

as for what I really need tranny wise... is an answer to my 2nd gear shift issue... seems to hunt for 2nd from time to time... cant make up it's mind if it needs 2nd or 3rd, no wait, 2nd... pops up & down a couple of times before it stays. I suspect a sticky 2nd gear solenoid in the VB... this started after a performance VB install... still working on getting it resolved.

what do you think?

Hi, new here and looking into getting a '03-'052500 diesel, auto, i've heard that they are bad about having tranny problems and was wondering if its true, if so are there any kind of upgrades for it? oh, whats the diff between a HO diesel and a turbo diesel? thanks
