Default newbie!

hey all, im a newbie here, just wanted to say hey to everyone! Now its time to tell my story, once upon a time I had an 89 Ford Escort, just got my license and needed something to go around town in. It wasnt long until I found a cheap little Ford Escort with 14,000 miles on it. It was a fun little car, until the tranny went while I was on my way to work. Now it wont shift out of first and so tops out at a whopping 25mph. When I had to have my dad pick me up from work 9 hours later, we realized that it was crunch time for a new vehicle. I wanted something bigger, more manly (come on what isnt manlier than an escort[] haha), and something I could haul my stuff to and from college and in the summer my surfboard! This realization made me look toward the "compact" truck segment of the market (oxymoron of sorts), and now with my car dead the hunt was really on. On the ride home my dad told me how he noticed a nice little Dakota right down town for sale for 7400 with 77k and some nice options including automatic transmission and a tow package. I took a look at it and loved it, so I went before work the next day and took it for a spin. Everything went perfectly and I haggled the dealer down from the original price of 7400 to 6900. I bit on it, so now I will have the Dakota as early as now (pending paperwork), or within the next couple days!!! Here's the details on it: 2001 Dodge Dakota 4x2 Sport, Auto trans, 3.9L V6, AM/FM cassette stereo, bedliner, full tow package, chrome fender flares, bug guard on the front, and its black!!! Pics to come!
