New Magnum RT Owner
I saw the commercials for a couple of months and the Magnum looked like it could be my dream car. Our local Dodge dealer got one in Inferno Red with the Hemi on Friday night (June 11), I was there early Saturday morning (June 12). I started looking at it, popped the hood, sat in it, and was, almost within a minute, approached by the salesman. I immediately stated I was just looking and I might be back in a month. I then test drove it. Needless to say, the car was in my driveway that night. The funny thing is, they weren't supposed to sell it before the premier night (June 17). I was signing the papers as the owner of the dealership called and said to the salesman, "See if he can bring it back to the dealership for premier night?" After working out a compensation deal plus a loaner for the day, I agreed. She looked real pretty all spruced up in the showroom. A second Magnum was delivered to the dealer for the night but it was the bigger of the two 6 cylinder models. Not the Hemi! They actually took four or five orders in a few hours. Anyways, the car is now in my hands again and I have since been cruising whenever I get a chance. It is funny, I never used to volunteer to drive and pick something up before, but with this car, I am all over the place. I love it! The RT I have is really loaded, I have the 6 CD changer/GPS-DVD navigation system, dual climate control, blah, blah, blah....It has it all! This is my dream car! Looks Great, can fill it with a lot of stuff, comfortable on long drives and short ones for that matter, plus it has beastly muscle car power! Awesome!
CONGRATS on the Magnum!! Did you perhaps have any pictures of her on the Showroom floor for Premier night?
Welcome to DF!! I hope you stop by and visit us often! Glad to have you!!

Sorry, like an awe struck fool, I forgot to bring the camera. But it was fun, I met the actual owner of the dealership and he treated me like royalty! It was kind of strange to take in, just based on the fact I bought a really cool car. On another note. Last weekend, my wife and I, decided, what the heck, "Let's go to Monterey for lunch!" We live at least 75 miles away from Monterey! But we did it, the car is so much fun to drive!
