Default Hi All

Hi everybody, my name is James. I joined a while ago thinking that I was buying a 86 D-50, but I instead bought a Jeep. Now, I am considering buying my friend 1998 Dodge 1500 from him. It is a single cab short box, and it needs just a little bit of work done to it. The 4WD is a little screwy, the heater barely works, and there is a crack near the left rear tire of the frame, I believe. Otherwise, it is in flawless condition. He told me that if I did buy it from him, he would just make me take over the payments rather then doing what he was originally doing (taking over payments, and $1000). I can't right now, because I am making payments on my Jeep, but I am really considering getting this Dodge. What do you all think? The payments for it are $175 at the moment, and $2000 or so is already payed on it. It is costing my friend somwhere around $7000 I believe.

Here is a picture:

I really wish I would have got this truck rather then the Jeep, but I am happy with the latter for right now. It is my Daily Driver until I get another vehicle, and have some room in the garage to start building it up. If I do get the dodge, it will be my DD, and my tow rig for he Jeep. Otherwise, I will use one of my dads trucks (he has an F-150 and a Ranger, both exceptionally good at towing tuff).

Oh yeah, I forgot to mention that we have a Dodge Intrepid. It is ok, but it is too big of a car for my tastes.

I'm back! I find out next week if I can get the truck or not, so I am pretty excited.

I got a couple more pictures from pirate day last year at our school when my buddy and I graduated.

Well, I didn't get the loan that the bank was saying I would most likely get. Apparently, they won't accept people who are working through a staffing company, so in another 3 or so weeks, iwill try once again.
