<IMG src=smileys/smiley4.gif border="0">G'day Truckxpressions, thanks for the reply, I am going to keep her all original but turn the original 383 into a 431 stroker with a crank kit, just to fool a few people, maybe change the rear to 4.3's to add some punch. It'll look like Granny's car but go a little better.</P>

Welcome, 63polara. If you want max performance while looking stock, bore and stroke a 400. All 383 and 400 parts are interchangeable except the pistons and crank.
